During the 2024 Spring Kickoff for the new students at Jönköping University, I was present through my role in JSU Marketing Team providing video coverage. I was later tasked with putting together an intriguing aftermovie to summarize the past week.
The rough cut was made by my colleague, allowing me to focus on the polishing. For example i added effects like the logo sequence with motion tracked particles, re-arranged and speeded up some sequences, tweaked the color correction, animated the intro and outro, added sound effects etc.
All clips were filmed by me and another colleague during the course of the kickoff. As the kickoff features many different locations and conditions, pacing and color correction became two of the tougher tasks during editing.
