Spökjakt or "Ghost Hunting" was a personal project with the aim of producing a creepy, "grunge" vibe. The theme raised the urge to experiment with effects like face deformation, hand cutouts, duplications etc. and turned out to be more like a compilation of effects, rather than a creepy ghost edit.
The video relies heavily on its music; The first song provides the grungy creepy vibe i initially aimed for while the second song, together with the visuals, provide an almost out of body experience. The scene simulates the feeling of your conscience leaving your body and flying into space.
Most effects in this video was created from scratch. For example the hands were filmed using my phone and then rotoscoped in After Effects.
