~~WOOZY~~ is a personal project made with the intent to create a dreamy, VHS style vibe, whilst experimenting with some new effects.
Apart from VHS simulation, a lot of camera tracking was done for this video. One example is this scene where a lamp was tracked and centered in the shot. I also added some visual style effects, almost making it look 3D animated.
I wanted to create a real dreamy experience with this project and therefore decided to try a "Deep Dream AI". This sequence to the right was therefore exported as a .png sequence for the AI to add faces and eyes to objects in the image. Creating a real interesting visual experience.
The video also features smaller details like transitions and text that fits into the trippy vibe. The music is important and the idea for the video begun with the song, and grew from there. The artist, "Still Woozy", inspired the name of the video.
